I disagree on what you say is the original problem. But to say that you think I am a cheerleader without any criticism. You're wrong there as well. Let me remind and expand some of my many criticisms of the company.
I can point all the way back to the original VM pump as the original problem for everything.
Seems like big red have been dealing with fallout of that crap ever since.
They lost their $5 million S1 because of it which would have never led to notes or dilution for instance and given them all the financing they would have needed to launch.
The notes have been like eating celery. It takes more calories to chew celery than you gain from eating it.
Same with the notes. It seems like the money they gained ends up barely sustaining the company and they limped along.
Is it managements fault? Yes. They could have done an early reverse for instance when they saw someone pumping them that would have killed a pump and dump from whoever was doing it and saved everything.
But I dont think benny or the rest are that knowledgable on stock market and seem to have been learning on the job. Thats where I am critical.
Theyre comic book and movie creators not wall street wizards. I personally hope they get some money and get a real CEO, CFO, etc in place.
But until then I have to judge the company as a creative company. Are the comics and properties they have any good?
Yes. Theyre damn good comics and properties.
Next I think like, is the concept and business plan of doing free comics with ad revenue a good one?
It is absolutely brilliant. Genius really. I think Benny is a smart man but maybe not the best CEO or CFO. If he had some wall street guru on board, that would be different. I truly hope they get there.
So I ask myself, is it worth the risk? For me and many here it is.
