PR, exactly my point.

Check my past posts. I have argued that getting the drug was ALSO a way of funding. For me it is fine to say that AstraZeneca brings something expansive to the table in the form of a product that PPHM would otherwise have to pay for.

So money->spend to drug OR get drug is the same to me.

So I am fine with assuming that AstraZeneca is the 'at least one' partner providing funding. Remember also that the anti-PD-L1 compound is needed in BOTH arms and is the more expensive compound (keytruda/opdivo about 150K$ per treatment).

Bavituximab is only needed for the Bavi arm and PL has stated higher that manufacturing it themselves has been a contributions of millions (or will be - should check his wording again) by Avid Manufacturing.
