I understand what your saying but doesn't sound logical. It seems to me that a share buyback would benefit everyone including those converting shares on the open market since they could sell their shares at much higher prices. I understand that buying back shares would lower the outstanding shares. But as long as the o/s remains large enough to satisfy the conversion of shares what would be the problem? The way its going seems like a reverse split is inevitable and wouldn't benefit anyone including those converting their shares for cash.

Besides the company could have also chosen to settle the warrants with cash and further conversion could be avoided and not necessary yet it hasn't chose to take that route. Why didn't it choose to do so if they have $50M+ cash on hand. Something not adding up. Why choose to let the stock price be taken down so low, risk having to go r/s route and lower shareholder value.
