Sorry, but all I have found are self promotion pieces by Zale - I can't find any information on the De Beers site that states Steven Zale has won awards or anything in Forbes about Zale winning designer of the year for 2008.
I will email both places and see if they can confirm the awards.
I am going to bet they have never heard of the guy.
And from your response - you haven't actually seen any confirmation of the awards - just as I thought.
