6.75 X 10.45 = ?

Answer = a meaningless and/or misleading number. Multiplying the width of an interval (or core length) times the average gold assay for that interval gives you squat. You need to know the density of the rock, and the volume to provide anything useful.

Is this Burney who is coming up with this g/meter crap?

Why take a good assay interval in a drill hole, and hype it with meaningless metrics? Creating a new and misleading calculation by multiplying a width by a grade is goofy to say the least.

Instead, why not let the assays speak for themselves, and have the two geriatric geologists work on some kind of technical report, where the true width of the interval is disclosed, along with some cross-sections, drill hole locations, etc.?
