nothing light weight is going to save you from a high powered rifle regardless of the material...shrapnel is probably already covered...if not, it will be when they can stop rifle rounds...

ps...one could bring up the issue of the weapons being test fired from 3 meters...thats not enough distance for the rounds to reach full velosity...
