#22276 RE: Wo #22266

I think 'decriminalization' without corresponding licensed production is a recipe for disaster. See the MMAR program, no way is government going to make that same mistake twice.

I think Mulclair and Trudeau are both talking about the same damn thing, just calling it by a different name - is alcohol legalized or decriminalized? I certainly wouldn't want to build a business making my own and setting up a shop to sell it without the proper authorization to do so - making craft beer and starting a bar/restaurant may be a decent little business but there are a lot of regulatory hoops to jump through

I call that legal, decriminalized substance - Mulclair and Trudeau want to make it legal, make it a public health issue like alcohol or tobacco, regulate and tax it like any good liberal government would want to do

no matter what cannabis will be legalized - the only question is how much control the government will have and how much control gangs will have over the transition to a more normalized public health approach to the subject.

LP's are in the backround investing millions of dollars a quarter on 'medical outreach' - that sort of marketing may have a slow initial effect, but California here we come!!! Slowly but surely the obvious THERAPEUTIC effects of THC, CBD, CBN, etc become known to researchers, doctors, patients, and people - Doctors will authorize it and they will go the way of the MMPR because they were all put through obedience training for multiple decades we like to call school -

don't you worry everyone, eventually everyone will be on the same boat going down the same river - generations from now cannabis and alcohol will be the norm, something adults can decide to use at dinner at a restaurant before going in to see a movie or a show - just something to do to lighten the mood
