There is no such thing as a "daily short interest report". It is the daily short VOLUME report.

Short INTEREST is only reported biweekly on a two week delay.

The post is good...but even that mistake shows how confusing the issue can be.

short volume and short interest are two very different things...it is surprising how few really understand that.
