I thought we welcomed discussion about the industry as a whole? QMC currently provides the best opportunity for investors to buy into the market, but if there are going to be posts about how much better QMC is than the competition we need to have details to back that up. If you eliminate all discussion of competition, investors who come to this board won't be getting the full picture. They'd be getting a pumped up version of the market from posters here.

The fact of the matter is is that QMC is at a relatively steady price right now, with many positive developments in the last year. It is now up to them to capitalize on that progression and commercialize their technology. Pointing out the fact that competitors are establishing themselves in the market is not a negative. If investors are spooked by this it says more about their faith in QMC than anything else...

In what business segment is competitive analysis and market opportunity not only a relevant part of due dilligence but critically important?

The CEO of our company says they are targeting displays. Thinking shareholders would want to know which potential 2015 customers are tying up deals with which suppliers.

Personally, I still believe that the current odds of getting a sale/customer are greater than the SP going to $0 but that doesn't mean I don't look for new data every day and reevaluate that belief repeatedly.
