You are absolutely correct. BB does know what he is talking about. The only ones that short this is MM and maybe a couple small hedge funds. I tried setting up an account to short years ago on the Frankfurt exchange and it is not an easy task. The Cayman Islands is even more difficult.

There is virtually no retail shorting unless you can find shares to short which I say is impossible and even if you found shares then it is very expensive unless you go through a Prop firm.
