Biotech drugs are powerful, injected medicines produced in living cells which are typically much more expensive than traditional chemical-based drugs.

What? I think he means biologic drugs...but I'm just a wookie...

Anyway....

During AACR Mr. King was gracious enough to talk to me...he made it perfectly clear that the original Bavituximab molecule design(seed batches), if ever lost, would be extremely difficult to impossible to replicate exactly. Hence, the 1000 of vials in various locations to preserve the original design.

I am wondering if this is true for other biologic drugs(not biotech drugs) are as complicated to replicate. I think the FDA is in for a rude awakening about bio similar biologics.....Biologics can't be similar, they must be exact or risk unknown affects.

Chemicals have constants...biology is a little more complicated....

Still waiting for someone to help with the $3 conversion time frame for PPHMP....EXWANNBE????? You're an owner....if we hit $3 and you convert do you want your PPHMP x 8.33 the next day or in 120 days? tia

Tsmith????You brought it up as a possible reason for the 175 MIL proposed....although the numbers galaxies apart....

Ferris...Bueller......????????

The FDA’s proposal to use vendor-specific suffixes on the names of biologics and FoBs is inconsequential from a commercial standpoint, IMO.
