How can you make this statement, "Specifically those "products"...no, they do not....lol." How on earth can you say LOL when referring to MS, BR, and DS. Seriously now! You try to diminish their value and importance, but that does not work with me.

The rest of your post is just fluff, something many incorrectly accuse Kim of all the time.....

There is also no way you know if they have anything at all. Their management doesnt even know what they have so that means they have nothing worth talking about.

KBLB has something we can discuss. There are stats on our silk and historical production costs for silk made by worms.

Your flavor of the month "competition" has a story. That is all. Their word that they have something is all they have given.

It is safe to assume that history will repeat itself as you and others have stated. Many times a week we hear how Kim has missed dates in the past so he will miss this one too.
The KBLB double standard is alive and well in this topic as well. After all this is not the first time the BT team has claimed to have goo produced silk and they were full of crap last time but this time around they are being factual?

I say BT has nothing. If you wish to claim they do you need to prove it with more than the word of a a team who has loed in the past.

There is a way.

Just check out the Entogenetics Patent:

The transformed silk was significantly different from natural silk. The strength of natural silk was measured at 0.78±0.06 GPa. The transformed silk showed two curves (FIG. 23), with means of 1.02±0.04 GPa and 1.095±0.03 GPa.

The strength of most of his silkworms that were tested are a little over 1 GPa (1,000 Mpa). This is about as strong as the Nephila clavipes "Golden Orb Weaving" spider's dragline silk. Stronger than Monster Silk® (per PNAS), about as strong as Big Red (I assume), but not quite as strong as Dragon Silk™.
