For some companies, the door is wide open. The advent of more and more health systems, results in more firewalls, and islands of data. Our capitalistic model of healthcare will keep it that way.
So we need an open source platform to cross emr/ehr platforms to improve health care for an individual not tied to a single health system or tied to a single location.
