Actually, there are many in the scientific community that have investments related to products they support or use. As I have repeatedly stated, when presenting research findings at a scientific meeting such as Dr Jiminez at EASD meeting in Barcelona Spain where he presented results of a 12 week study on Sucanon efficacy, the way I have seen the issue handled is that the presenter discloses any financial interest or support received while performing the study. That type of disclosure is how you have knowledge of Dr J's financial interest in the company, which is how it should work. You are likewise free to make your own opinions known, and other prospective shareholders are free to draw their own conclusions.
Personally, I count it a plus when someone who has a lot of experience treating diabetes thinks Sucanon is worth investing in based on his study of the efficacy.

Do I smell a possible run here?
