Nah, it's when the domain went live. Which was probably 1998. Tweed Marihuana probably bought it when they started in 2013.

Funny thing, I know a friend of a friend that is the Tweed web developer (I know sounds flaky, but its legit). Young attractive woman in her 20's. Pretty fresh graduate by all measures. I don't know her salary, of if she's on contract. But I don't think she's some type of overpaid guru. I wouldn't worry about it. I like the new Tweed webpage layouts though.

Tweed : The site has about 585 users daily, viewing on average 3.90 pages each.
Daily Pageviews 1,650 +9%
United States & Canada are where most visitors come from.

Tim Hortons : 7,231 users visit the site each day, each viewing 3.55 pages.
Daily Pageviews 16,804 +8%
The majority of visitors come from India, United States & Canada

Wallmart : The estimated 39,780 daily visitors, each view 5.08 pages on average.
Daily Pageviews 132,785 +14.0%
It is most popular in the countries, India, United States, Pakistan, China & Canada.

Compared to Tweed, both Tims and Walmart have store fronts. MMPR Lp's are exclusively on-line and restricted. Now just considering what Tweed online traffic would look like after Legalization, especially if there were store fronts like MMAR dispensaries. If MMAR were to form some sort of legal union for online sales, the numbers may look like a Tims. The numbers could be much closer to Tims and Wally's, and so too the Market Value.
