Upon check in they took our voucher after waiting about 1 hour, we go up to the room with no air conditioning, dirty sheets, no TV and a distinct smell of smoke and cat urine. My husband goes downstairs and they say they haven't had TV in 2 weeks, the breakfast area is under construction and the air should work. He tried to get a refund and came to get me as we would rather walk to a different hotel than stay there. We walk out to the parking lot and the shuttle pulled in, we warned everyone in the shuttle and he took them to the other flea bag hotel on the road. There was no room for us so we walked, in the parking lot (with no cars in it at all) we watched a hooker walk around and get picked up...awesome. (Even they didn't stay lol) We get to the other hotel and it was all booked, we decided to go back to the airport, no taxi, uber or lyft goes to this area of town. We had to beg the sckeezy now drugged out shuttle driver to take us back. We slept on the cold hard ground of the Atlanta airport and I felt 10,000 times safer there than in either of those hotels. By the way, our card was never refunded, we looked closer at the receipt to find that someone unplugged the machine, no authorization code and printer offline, funny how it worked to charge it though!
