That's natural. As a stock gets crushed lower and lower, it draws out more and more people bailing. You can only watch your position lose so much before most will pull the plug. It's why thin stocks are at such a risk for maneuvers like that. Again, not saying that is what happened, that someone dropped it purposely to accumulate cheap shares, but it's possible if nothing else.
