Great question. I can think of a few:

1. Lanza leaves

2. Negative phase II results

3. Unable to pay off the $10M bank loan and/or more dilution to pay off the loan

4. No JV/partnership of their non-core technology in 4th quarter

I'm sure there are a few more roadblocks that could delay them meeting their projected milestones such as FDA delay, EMA rejection, etc...

Time will tell. However, I do believe this startup has survived through some of the worst scenarios already and will succeed based on their technology and currently owning the ball field due to the recent Japan fiasco...
