It's fine I'm pretty sure I read the article. I was obsessed with this stock a year ago. The time has come for BLTA to start releasing dates. It's 20+ years in the making, you mean to tell me no one in BLTA crew has a clue when they will be profitable? This is Insane. The 10Q is worthless they haven't sold 1 ticket as yet. I don't even know why they would embarrass themselves like that.
Baltia Airlines Chronological History & Remaining Certification Steps
Below is the History of BLTA. It is very factual, precise and detailed. It is part of an official document taken directly from Baltia's 448 page Certification Application submitted to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Application of Baltia Air Lines, Inc. (“Baltia”), requesting a certificate of public convenience and necessity authorizing Baltia to conduct air transportation as an air carrier between New York and St. Petersburg on simplified procedure - 10/10/2007: http://www.regulations.gov/#!documentDetail;D=DOT-OST-2007-0007-0001
Post 2007: BLTA Tasks Accomplished & Remaining Tasks Until FAA Certification
Remaining Tasks (with my comments in blue) For BLTA Certification (Essentially 2 Tasks, #3 & #4 are mere formalities):
1.) Mini Evacuation Test & Simulated Ditching Test * Planning & Preparation already completed. Attempted multiple Mini Evacs. Slides Deployment Issue (Baltia Crew Performed Brilliantly). Last attempt supposedly local FAA signed off as a Pass, sent all info info/data to Washington D.C. for final determination.
2.) Proving Flights * 100 Hours Flight Time required for BLTA to demonstrate they can safely perform their proposed route. Estimate up to a month, but again, paperwork required.
3.) FAA Air Carrier Certificate Issuance * FAA paperwork required, but FAA has known this is coming.
4.) Inaugural Flight * BLTA has been preparing for this moment for years. FAA to allow Promotion and Ticket Sales 30 to 45 days prior to Inaugural Flight.
