What he refers to is 2 things. First, IB is the best in regards to fees when it comes to small positions trading back and forth. For larger shares size orders IB is not so cheap. The second thing that he is referring to is the fact that IB only allows 500k blocks to be bought. Obviously that is ugly in a low double zero or triple zero stock because you have to do 4 orders for example if you wanna buy 2 million ABPR. Costs you much more than with other brokers. But still for me personally it's by far the best fee structure overall since I do thousands of small trades back and forth and always only pay 1 or 2 bucks while you pay 9 or 10 bucks with other brokers if you do these small trades.
