I think a lot of these PR Articles are actually paid for by Shorts. People that buy in large quantities on the drop who are looking to sell on the increase after articles like this are released. 4% isn't enough for the typical investor to do this, but when you're dealing with 300k-400k shares at a pop, a 4% upswing makes a difference.

Sadly, this does nothing but hurt the company.
