The greatest threat of the Republican Party...

is the stripping of our Civil Liberties. I am a member of that party, also.

Give it up walldog...The world as you know it is the same as you knew it. It's just you that's changed.

Get some fresh air and breath deeply. You're too negative on your home country and you're starting to sound like john kerry.

walldog, calm down. you need to drink a whole bottle of wine.

the only thing that is different today than yesterday, is that we know that ERHC filed to excercise their rights to under the law, that they used excessive force to do so(ridiculous), and this really proves how valuable our blocks must be. We knew that we were going to have to fight this thing when they issued the warrant. We also knew it could be one of two things. STP ag report or jefferson. We were split on that.

Walldog...is this the comment you want to leave to the board?

"America is crumbling, the only growth is in the "police" sector,...I give the USA another 20 years before it is a footnote in history."

Why wait to leave the country if this is what you think.

Get thee gone!

if I thought like you i'd either run for public office, leave the U.S. or go hide somewhere.

Good luck. But try looking at the good.

Walldog: Ironically as the country becomes more religious, you say it has lost its soul. There is a lot in the world that is going downhill, but there are a hell of a lot of places that have bigger problems than America.

I agree that America has its problems, but I think that the weak have too much of a say in what goes on these days.

I think that peoples attitudes need to change and a good start would be to get rid of silly political correctness in conversation etc.

All the crap about people suing for discrimination because somebody calls them a nigger, while the black community are more than happy to address each other as "wassup my nigga!" is also a load of rubbish. Bring back the days when you can compliment a woman on her appearance without getting nailed for sexual harrassment (hasn't happened to me by the way, but I am trying to make a point).

In my country, Britain, things are going to the dogs in certain quarters as well and they should bring back caning in schools to teach children good manners and respect, rather than have them learning that they can run riot and no-one can do anything about it. Of course, there will be the odd scenario where a kid will be abused by a ruthless teacher, but for the benefit of society it is worth risking that happening - far too often in modern society, change is put in place that helps out a very small minority at the expense of the majority. No world is perfect, but majority should rule.

Right, almost enough of the soap box for me this morning, but it is too early to say that the US is finished. She just needs the right people in the right spots to guide her back in line again.

To assume that the US is finished would be to assume that China is going to take over. China is going to undergo massive social upheaval over the next few decades and it is too early to say what the result of that will be.

Walldog: I have read your postings for years and am struck by the amplification of despair and depression that chacterizes your state of mind. You are being overwhelmed by anger, suspicion and outrageous fantasy, all focused, should you continue on this path, to diminish your sanity.. As I read your characterization of this country with your generalized indictment of both it’s leadership and citizenry,, I was at first hesitant to respond. Your comments however are so off base and outrageous that having at first rejected responding, I was compelled , like you, to vent my opposition. In your present state I am hesitant to exchange any rational rebuttal of your comments for I am convinced you are insulated from any influence others or I may impart on your tragic condition. You obviously are in great pain and suffering immensely. I suggest, for your benefit and those around you, that you seek some professional help. I have read your contributions and am convinced you possess the intelligence to work through a state of mind that appears to torment you and if left unchallenged, could quite frankly, rob you of the beauty of life. My apologies for this personal trespass- but you asked for this by spouting your comments and creating your private billboard for your distorted propaganda..

Why wait!

Frankly with your attitude...you don't deserve this country.

Perhaps I have been somewhat harsh with you - certainly more so than others. But "patriotism" is one of my most important core values both for the U.S. and the U.K. - two of the greatest nations on this planet..."worts" and all.

IMHO
