I also like the name Canopy Growth. It conveys several points. Canopy being the highest layer of growth in a forest. And Growth also having dual meanings. One for the type of industry and for the type of operation

Problem is bad product is difficult to sell.

Changing the company's name won't do you any good.

Good weed sells itself.

If You are dead set on this ---Then why not call the Company "Cannabis Growth Corporation"

Cannabis pretty much covers their business and their products plus other future Marijuana business buyouts.

Thanks for giving us the Idea!

I just keep picturing the canopy atop the cannabis forest they are growing. Birds eye view.

I think they should call it mothership cannabis corp, if Bruce was cool he would be the official Captain of the Mothership, an extremely honorable title reserved for the truly badass, but it WILL be named Canopy Growth so let's just live with that. I just got to point out that your comment about Tweed Farms low cost production for all subsidiary operations - I disagree, no Bedrocan cannabis will ever be grown there. If they were to pick up another domestic brand maybe, but not Bed buds. Bedrocan grows Bed Buds.

Bedrocan grows cannabis is a controlled environment, they strive to replicate all environmental conditions when producing the cannabis, their entire brand is based on consistency. Bedrocan will not be altering their production methods at all going forward - the idea is the product remains exactly the same over time and across the ocean.

Before I read your post i was thinking how complimentary the two operations are - because Bedrocan from the beginning of the MMPR program has been the leader by far in availability and consistency - the two biggest drawbacks I see in Tweed as a producer. Bedrocan on the other hand I stayed away from, I waited for Tweed to get their production up - because they had a cool brand I was interested in - as recreational users (me and wife) for most of our lives, we were split between Peace Naturals and Tweed as consumers, but we chose Tweed because they seemed the biggest and best.

Bruce IS Captain of the Mothership! Admiral of the Fleet! That would be a really fun thing to play with at company parties, but you all didn't think of that did you guys?

The Tweed brand will do alright anywhere it can get in early on the market as a big legitimate player, that's what I think because that's how I went
