#38575 RE: baystock1 #38572

Interesting and informational article with news and views and likely scenarios in this area of ever changing dynamic economics. Thanks for posting it.

One thing is for sure that the 'assumptions' over 'assumptions' and more 'assumptions' can lead any analysis into whatever extreme 'scenarios' one could think of. That is and will be a 'constant' talk by those who follow the important topic of international trade and economies of larger and growing players like China in the 'landscape'.

My personal view happens to be "things are not as bad or as good as they appear on the surface" and I tend to be skeptical of those 'eagerly waiting' waiting for something too extreme to happen should question themselves and their thinking if that is an 'objective expectation' or more based on 'greed' as the line is changing as events unfold along the way of the dynamic changes in this area.

Never lose the fact that the world has become much more connected and the need for some 'balance' and 'fairness' will have to be maintained and that can be achieved faster now then ever was just few decades ago. One would hope that leaderships in the powerful nations are better equipped and connected and even expected to adhere to better standards for mutual benefit than otherwise. After all, past history is full of lessons to learn from and a better understanding of both the challenges causing 'situations' and 'emergencies' and their handling thereof... would help all.

I happen to be optimistic by nature. Mankind did not arrive to this point of civilization because of pessimists and those dreaming of 'extreme scenarios' to become 'reality'. GLTA
