I don't know. There seems to be too much stuff that doesn't sound right.
The quoted language doesn't match up with the way Stan speaks, publicly.
It seems odd that the guy works for Stan's daughter as well as for Stan/POW!. I don't think Stan's daughter could work for POW!, since she works for another company/competitor, without POW! filing an 8K announcing the irregularity (edit: and possible conflict of interest she poses to POW!).
$40/hr is a bit high to be hired as a gopher. Even $25 seems high.
I believe that California is an "at will" state. Companies can fire people without giving a reason as long as it isn't discriminatory.
If he felt abused, why didn't he just quit?
It seems more likely, the guy is seeking publicity or a payout, maybe both.
I hope Stan/POW! wastes the money, and fights this in court.
