I highly doubt that back in 2001 the owner of T of T could have envisioned a business model wherein he would offer cannabis friendly lodging for the legal recreational use of MJ.

I'm not even sure Med MJ was legal in Colorado in 2001.

Also, he did nothing with the domain name for some 13 years.

The intent of use by this taste of travel company for that domain name has to be obtained.

Maybe the T of T owner just liked to wake and bake?

I checked the Colorado E-filing system (ICCES) and Joel hired Ogborn Mimm LP. Not personally familiar with them but they've got a nice office location and a nice website. They seem to specialize in business disputes.

Well, the guy held the domain since 2001 in hopes of cyber squatting in future, figuring at some point there would be bud and breakfasts popping up. The fact that the guy had the domain since 2001 and NEVER built an operating website until AFTER mjmj did, and the logo's are really similar, then I'd say Joel has a chance. It might be proven that the other group just waited to squat until the bud and bfast sector came alive....
