If he's f-up the business why don't he put it up for sale or something, at least we may still have a chance with new management.

Somebody needs to leave one last message on his recorder to come clean or its to the state attorney we go and there won't be anyplace on earth he can hide.
We also need to write to the same newspapers that gave him the promotion advertising and let them know that they may be involved in this fraud. Let them do the work for us and investigate this sh thead.
