"Well, there's an organization called the SEC that would take immediate action against all PRs of this magnification"
LOL. If only that were true. Unfortunately in the penny world the SEC is remarkably slow to take action...usually long after the horse has left the barn. Very rarely, and only in the most egregious cases, do they act quickly.
Assuming that the lack of quick action on the part of the SEC somehow means those PR's have their seal of approval would be a grave mistake.
what a crock, the SEC takes "Immediate action on Pr's", they dont even read em. Jail time for fake pr's, also FALSE usually disgorgement of ill-gotten gains and fines, and hopefully in this case a BAN from the OTC and every other Market. White collar crime RARELY serves jail time. Another scare tactic to convince the inexperienced that this "MUST" be true or else.....Thats BS!!
Well, there's an organization called the SEC that would take immediate action against all PRs of this magnification. So obviously the SEC is all right with it.
The SEC would have to know about it to take the action you suggest. Obviously they can't read every PR issued by every public company.
But of course they've had problems with Ferguson and misleading press releases in the past. So perhaps they'd be interested.
