I find the paranoia about Windows10 privacy issues to be overblown.

Edward Snowden's disclosure about mass surveillance by NSA shows that we have very little privacy left. I do not see too many people in arms about NSA surveillance. Rand Paul rants about it, but no one appears to be listening. Unfortunately the NSA surveillance has not been very effective. Boston Bombing,Charlie Hebdo and various sundry Al Qaeda/ ISIS inspired attacks were not prevented by the surveillance. Logically this should have ended the oppressive surveillance. But unfortunately the fear psychosis induced since 9/11 justifies even more intrusive surveillance, and I can see NSA using Big Data Analytics and AI techniques to gather even more data and analyze it better. I am a pessimist about privacy issues for several years.

Does it make a difference if my privacy is being violated by NSA or Facebook or Google or Microsoft ? :-(

Overall Windows 10 is very pleasant and is indeed an improvement even over Win7. The dark night of Win8 is behind me. I used to avoid my computer with the Win8 installation. I have no qualms about using the same machine which has been upgraded to Win10.
