Without actual posted numbers, it's all hearsay.

If I was one of the owners of the film - I would demand they release the numbers if they were as high as HHSE is implying. (And perhaps the Sunday matinee is higher because of the free VIP passes they gave away)

The top 3 this weekend all averaged over 7,000. If The Algerian was in that range, it would garner media attention and other theaters would consider booking it.

1 Mission: Impossible: Rogue Nation - $7,372 Per Screen Average
2 Fantastic Four - $6,558 Per Screen Average
3 The Gift - $7,280 - Per Screen Average
