Its like a tailor made excuse... The jerk offs who diluted NRTI will probably try to say that the FDA is the reason for the pull back of the CBD products... but they messed up because accordig to CN there is proof they lied in PR's... hopefully they will do time and be forced to forfeit their ill-gotten gains. Another thing that maybe they can get nailed for is the shady way they removed the floor from the conversions - when that happenned it was so disgusting. F**K YOU NRTI MANAGEMENT YOU DESERVE JAIL TIME IMO.

Thanks for the article, very informative.

Seems like CBD is in a grey area right now. Many things could be solved if marijuana were made a schedule II substance.

FDA lists CBD as a new drug (ie. needs sufficient safety & efficacy data from clinical studies), and hence those who want to sell it may have to conduct clinical trials in order to market it. Clinical studies can be expensive and time consuming. Good news is that if the FDA approves the use of CBD here after the conclusion of the clinical trials and filing of the NDA, that may help create a pathway for approval by other companies. I'm not sure how patents would come into play. As many know, US government already has one on CBD.

Bad news is that DEA lists it as a derivative of marijuana and hence a schedule 1 substance. That is why banks hesitate to finance companies that produce CBD. That is where the toxic financing comes into play.

BTW, it's not an excuse. If the FDA says that a company cannot market CBD products as a dietary supplement, then current companies trying to do so have a big problem. If they ignore the FDA, FDA sends a warning letter. After that, the FDA may coordinate a raid of company's manufacturing facilities and seize all products. They've done it on certain dairy farmers.
