Seaghost, Captain, others holding out hope (I know Creed's not):
I talked to Crawford three weeks ago, and again this morning. Mark was up there to do some maintenance on his servers. They talked with him for a while, artsy guy, made sure he had access and help needed, then went about their business. Next thing they know he's gone, and guess what - he took his servers, plus the monitors. They were giving him free rack space too. Now he's behind two months. He signed a 5-year deal. No servers, no signal picked up by the famed AMC 10. No programming can be watched by anybody, even in Houston via OEN. A ghost ship.
I sat on this for almost a month thinking he'd be back with those servers. My apologies, that was selfish but I was in denial. I couldn't see throwing this kind of info out there before knowing for sure. Repeated calls to no avail. Crawford's out a lot of money. The 15% was an effective delay tactic. This may have been orchestrated from the beginning. My guess is that Rick's success was a problem for Astrom sr. (whose office was across the square in Ocala). He was actually building a great company. Maybe Mark and Naseem had no active role - just got steamrolled by him. Maybe he'll be back with those servers. Maybe someone will ride in and pay Crawford. I cannot believe they would conciously rip us off (naive midwest roots).
