You expect, maybe, or potential for, a rise in BAA share price until earnings are released. If poor earnings down we go, or strong earnings BAA will hold or head higher.
Yet you also mention 'leaked' news prior to earnings which will affect the share price prior to release, and then shares drop on bad news, or steady to higher on strong earnings news.
