Let me start with a disclaimer. Cheryl Shuman isn't a person. She is a personality. She literally markets herself as a product. She is by virtue of self promotion an institution and therefor is not due any more respect or political correctness when criticized than Walmart or McDonalds.
Her Tweets about having a tough time emotionally with all the negative criticism is an appeal to emotion and a lot of people fall for it. She is trying to silence any attack on her brand by appealing to her humanity.
So to clarify...I'm attacking her as a market product, not personally. Regardless, even if she does get offended, I'd care more about a bag of rice spilling in China, than her fragile sensibility.
Cheryl Shuman is in the business of promotion. Quite often, if not always, she promotes a product she doesn't even believe in.
She is a modern day snake oil salesman. She peddles you a bag of goods, that skyrocket in price and later devalue to almost nothing.
Not sometimes....but all the time.
I have been critical of her association from the start, precisely because her presence marks the beginning of the end. There is no moral virtue in her labor and the only people who made money from her hype left a long time ago. The rest of us are either stuck because we believed, or in my case...made huge tactical errors in trading the spread on the way down.
The best thing for OSLH is to depart entirely from CS.
I'm not wrong about Cheryl Shuman, by the same virtue that the sky is undoubtedly blue. At this point everyone here knows it.
