GM Reports June Sales Of 429,742, Up 1.5 %
DETROIT -(Dow Jones)- General Motors Corp.'s (GM) June sales rose 1.5% on high single-digit growth in truck sales.

The auto maker actually sold fewer vehicles in June, but the percentage increase is on a per selling days basis. There were 24 selling days for the latest month, compared with 26 a year ago.

In a press release Tuesday, General Motors said its total vehicle sales in the U.S. for the month was 429,742, compared with 458,876 a year ago.
