Since it is a fantasy universe then logic and reason don't apply, or he can define things as he sees fit. The only problem for him is that CTIX and it's actual investors don't dwell in that fantasy universe.

Perhaps in your fantasy universe, this happens:
Leo realizes K is all smoke and mirrors, but pushes ahead with the pipeline anyway. P has almost fallen off the radar, so he starts scouring the market for an opportunity to take the focus off these two. Lo an behold, PYMX falls into his lap, and he throws everything he can scrape together to purchase their pipeline. For the next 12 months, he promotes B like nothing else, hoping that it will lift them onto NASDAQ so he can cash in his stake and retire wealthy. Only it dosent, and big fish know that it's because B dosent really work. Nevertheless, Leo pushes ahead with various trials, reluctant to partner with anyone lest they progress too quickly and realize there is nothing viable in the pipeline. Will he be successful and see the PPS skyrocket and take us to NASDAQ? Or will the SP keep eroding until he gives up and cashes out early and goes into hiding?
More of a nightmare than a fantasy, but hey. Could be real.
