It would make sense for Affymetrix to buy them out. They are literally down the street from their building in Sunnyvale.

Plus they are doing the same type of work and producing similar products. To merge would consolidate their campuses. It'd be nice. Also AFFX is on NASDAQ trading at over $10.00+/share

Something IS happening I believe. Some great people here doing some awesome DD for us. More than likely a BO. Companies have to have a lot of things workout before announcing. Or could be a big joint venture (JV) with much bigger company, such as some mentioned. Hang tight and accumulate!
