I can answer that...its because it's the market! This is the way it goes--up and down. That's why everyone needs to do their own DD. if you know what you own and you keep your risk tolerance in check, you will be confident in your investment. The moment one or the other get out of hand, confidence fails. I would say the risk tolerance is right now the biggest factor in play.

You're of course right, it's an opinion-based forum. My opinion is that irrational investor behavior is dangerous and should be noted. But Rdunn I know what you mean and I do not disagree with that.
