Try calling FINRA and asking if the daily numbers represent short interest in the stock. That site it total BS that makes the daily numbers out to be something they are not. The daily numbers mean next to nothing in regards to short selling as the first leg of a trade will be marked as short if the market maker sells to the buyer first when matching a trade.
