If you have high LDL and you have a family history of circulatory problems and atherosclerosis in veins, such as my family has, I would rather take crestor, specially if I don't suffer any "visible" secondary effect such as muscle myalgia, etc. Knowing that crestor dicreases the amount of Q10 in the body, my parents both take crestor 5 and Ubiquinol+PPQ. I am against taking statins but I would not be comfortable with high LDL in blood neither.
