FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, Drone Services USA, Inc. (DSUS)
Working with local sheriff’s department, military contractors and ex law enforcement, DSUS Director of Defense & Security Applications and owner of DSUS affiliate From Above RC, Solomon Nieves, recently showcased the advanced capabilities of drone & thermal imaging technology during a drug exchange training exercise in an undisclosed location in Texas.
Utilizing drone support, the IRD-TC640 camera was able to film, with extreme detail, the exchange from distances as far as 500 meters. “This is what we live for! These types of drug transactions are very common—an unmarked plane flies into a non-monitored airport in Small Town, USA, the criminals make their exchange undetected, all parties depart & the contraband are transported over the road, making its way to the American streets. Many of these small towns have faced hurdles in their efforts to thwart these illegal activities due to budget constraints. DSUSA makes this type of air support affordable utilizing our drones with the most advanced thermal imaging technology.” Says Solomon Nieves.
DSUS is in talks with many agencies and organizations throughout the country as it pursues its mission to make available its military grade drones and advance thermal technology to everyone from rural law enforcement to government agencies. “We have a dynamic team working in concert to provide not only our advance technology but our vast experience and expertise in mission critical applications as well. Our technology can lend itself as a life-changer in so many ways. The training mission in Texas is just one of many examples where we have been able to successfully demonstrate a resolution to a very complex problem.” Says DSUS President & CEO, Joel Bredow.
