My understanding at this point is that disti's are expected to dump all current inventory of dual core procs like mad in preparation of the upcoming Conroe inventory. The Conroe push is on... motherboards with 965 chipsets are on the roadmaps of the major manufacturers to be delivered near term. Intel's desktop boards will be somewhat late compared to the other players, but the current goal is to get these cpu's to market ASAP.
