It's a bit more complex than people are letting on. If samsung licenses tech from another company and produces their own QDs, than they can be potential competitors and in the same token, certainly not a potential customer. Competition can take many forms for a major company that is part of the monopoly market of electronics by the way. It's not just sales. But if a company like samsung just cares about having the best QDs and don't want to produce them in house, then any company with the best dots has a shot to supply. I don't know which side it would fall on. The only thing that matters though is that QMC aligns with SOMEBODY, ANYBODY.
