Thanks for posting that article. It certainly validated some of the points I was making.
NFC only for small ticket purchases.
When a major outbreak of fraudulent payments occur it will be turned off. Good luck using your phone.
NFC facility can only work if a biometric card is issued.
The SMME card is dormant in your wallet as it needs to be activated by your fingerprint to be active. Scanners won't be able to detect the chip.
It's been a long road but next week's release is exciting.
