They knew they had a buyer for their sub-prime loans, so why not make as many as they could and short FnF on the way down?

But fighting two wars with no tax increase -- not even a surcharge

And increasing the cost of Medicare by 20% with not one extra penny put in our trust fund (average cost of care for a Medicare enrollee 2013 5,000 hospital 5,000 doc (10K together) and 2,000 the new part D ----

amazing two wars and the largest increase in entitlement since I guess LBJ ---- and all on the Chinese credit card

Bush did not cause the recession but the above is why Paulson pulled the plug on F and F --- and 500+ community banks sitting with tons of TIER ONE F and F preferred as TIER ONE capital !!!!
