I know I'm 100% right by not overreaching and making very conservative interpretations of what I read.

You might be safe but it doesn't make you right.

conservative interpretation

is not black and white. It is one of those shades of gray.

Your conservative interpretation is your conservative opinion.

It is no more right than Bobs liberal interpretation/opinion.

I am not looking to change your opinion. I think your opinion is pretty valid. I just want you to realize that scientist or laymen there is only a set amount of factual information available. That information is 100% inconclusive as to if we have mass quantities or not.

Logic says that in order to be producing the same strain of silk worms for many generations would require that you end up with 1 gram of silk for every worm.
Since that breeding has been going on for about 4 years they have had somewhere near 50 generations of worms.

Seeing that they have quite a few pounds when they first announced the fiber I would guess that at a minimum a ton of material was produced in the past 4 years just in the lab alone.

Yes I realize that the ton would be inconsistent but the point is they also have their pilot production program that has been producing for over a year.
I am sure any pilot program would be at least 4 times larger than a lab breeding system so logic again says they have at least a ton from the pilot. That silk would be pretty consistent.

We also have to account for the gloves. They only weigh an ounce or so but there is NO WAY warwick set up their machines with 4 ounces of fiber to knit a glove.
That isn't opinion. I was in manufacturing for decades and setting up your machines for 1 part is not something you do voluntarily for any reason.

They also have a jersey weave. That is something that CANT be done with a small amount of silk. The machines need quite a few rolls to weave a fabric.

So logic shows there is a very good chance that there are large quantities of MS produced. Tons? I don't know but there is no way to say it isn't tons.

Jazz, your post makes sense. I guess I get so wrapped up with my thoughts that I will put in a wrong word every now and then.

As an example, I said there was a contract with Vietnam instead of saying an MOU. I guess I am always thinking ahead, since I believe a contract is coming soon, IMHO, of course.

It is just that frustration is running rampant on this board, and it should be. The PPS being where it is wears on all of us, even me. I am not happy about it either, but I do not lash out against Kim or the company. This frustration causes us to write things which we do simply because of emotion, as is often the case when money is involved.

I am happy with the newsletter, even though Kim did not give concrete dates and timelines, since it is simply impossible. However, the mere fact that Kim mentioned the company's goal was to have sales and distribution agreements, that was enough to buoy my spirits. I now know there is a light on at the end of the tunnel, and I can see it ever so faintly! GO KBLB....:-)
