Thanks for the reply. Sorry I missed those posts. Very informative.

I do think Tom is playing the snake in the grass on the MJ issue but I am optimistic that if elected he will give the people what they want sooner rather than later as it would be a great income source for the government and the necessary regulation would be good for the public service too. Afterall the NDP are all about regulating business and public service.

yeah, the way the political system in Canada is set up, an ABC vote can split the government. Can Thomas Mulclair let Harper lead over Justin? Justin opposes this government and he will oppose an NDP government as well, he wants LEGALIZATION

decriminalize it! doesn't look good on a bumper sticker, it is the stance of a weak middle of the road politician - Tom Mulclair will fold up and join ranks, but Justin Trudeau won't unless he is leading and bringing about real change

I think Tom Mulclair would make a great statesman for Canada, just not Prime Minister - he should be involved in international bullshitting or something
