IF THEY WORK FOR TRUCKS THEY WORK FOR PASSENGER CARS. THAT QUOTE IS JUST RIDICULOUS.

It isn't about "working"... it is about being viable. An heavily subsidized $60k Fool Cell sedan that has poor acceleration, is less efficient than an ICE vehicle, pollutes the environment worse than a ICE vehicle, costs more per mile to drive than an ICE vehicle, and has no place to fill up is DOA!
