I disagree with you and I don't think you understand CELL-ID tech! Not sure why you say it was a poor attempt and excuse me for saying this but your issues are due to the lack of knowledge you understand about how accurate CELL-ID is!!!!!!!!!!!! I was very impressed with the accuracy and it showed me exactly where on the street and area of the airport it was in! This is Cellular triangulation and how it works. It will improve over time! Once again maybe you should email itraq your concerns due to your misunderstanding the technology! Not trying to be rude but when you post the same thing over and over and want an answer why it doesn't track it down to the foot I do t think
Anyone on this board is going to tell you what you want to hear.... Again
Not trying to be rude but I'm getting frustrated because Geotraq and Itraq and CELL-ID guidelines all explain how accurate it is! Never once does anyone of those 3 options say any closer than a proximity of a few hundred ft! Which again I repeat FCC is requiring cellular triangulation improve its accuracy down to feet due to people calling in for emergency response teams! And I'm sure They will look into adding Bluetooth to the module so when you get closer you can get it down to the foot!

this is the reason for the beta testing thats currently being done, allow them to finish the beta testing and work out any bugs before turning on them, as the emails have said they did expect some bugs and that they are working hard at correcting them. I think when the 2nd to 3rd generation of the itraq tags come out they will be more accurate, maybe not as accurate as narrowing it down to several feet but I bet it will be better than the first beta unit.
