My choices are Hotlanta for a family outing/backyard pool/drinking and blow your fingers off with real fireworks time, stay home for a shut down the cul-de-sac cookout followed by a single A baseball game and fireworks display, or Mountain Park, NC for some good old southern clog your arteries cooking and 4th of July celebration with an old time car parade.
